Area Analytics is an advanced traffic analytics tool for cities, governments and organizations that need precise, tailored data. Area Analytics enables you to define any custom area and analyze traffic data for specific days, months, years or even hourly timeframes.

The analysis results are delivered incredibly fast. This is possible by dividing the world into precalculated tiles, where the results are aggregated and delivered to users. The size of the tiles is adjusted automatically based on the geometry of your reports. It can range from very precise ~38-meter tiles up to ~400-kilometer tiles, offering data on a larger scale.

Usage limits and pricing model

Area Analytics allows you to analyze data from January 1, 2018, to the current date, excluding the last two days, as it takes time to process the newest data.

The analysis usage limits are represented by "tokens". Tokens are a virtual currency, where one token represents 24 hours of data for a user-defined region on the map, regardless of its size. They are also tied to the product's pricing model.

Currently, there is no limit on the date range or area size in kilometers - the only usage limitation is the total number of tokens for a report. The current token limit for a single report is 100,000.
