Area Analytics is an advanced traffic analytics tool for cities, governments and organizations that need precise, tailored data. Area Analytics enables you to define any custom area, and analyze traffic data for specific days, months, years, or even hourly timeframes.

The analysis results are delivered at an incredibly fast rate. This is possible thanks to dividing the world into precalculated tiles, in which the results are aggregated and delivered to users. The size of the tiles is adjusted automatically based on the geometry of your reports. It can range from very precise ~38-meter tiles up to ~400-kilometer tiles, offering data on a larger scale.

Usage limits & pricing model

Area Analytics allows you to analyze data from 01-01-2018 to the current date, excluding the last 2 days, as it takes some time to process the newest data in the archive.

The analysis usage limits are represented by "tokens". Tokens are an artificial currency, where 1 token represents data for 24 hours for a customer's defined region on the map, no matter its size. They are also closely related to the product's pricing model.

In the current version of the product, there is no limit regarding date range size or area size in kilometers - the only limitation in terms of usage is the total number of tokens a report amounts to. The current limit of tokens that can be used in a single report is 100,000.
