We’re excited to announce the second release of the TomTom Automotive Navigation Application, designed to help automakers deliver exceptional navigation experiences faster than ever.

This release introduces multiple enhancements across the NavSDK, UI consistency, event categorization, EV routing, hazard handling, and guidance features. It also includes stability improvements.

  • Map & UI consistency

New POI icons & color family adoption Updated POI iconography and harmonized color sets across the application to ensure full visual alignment with the map.

Improved event category differentiation Introduced updated icons and map markers that make different event types more distinguishable.

  • Navigation & routing improvements

Carpool / HOV guidance (non‑lane‑level) Added support for carpool and HOV road guidance to improve routing accuracy in supported regions.

Improved street number entry flow Enhanced the destination entry experience with a smoother and more intuitive street-number input flow.
