On this page you can find information how to create an account for personal use of Map Maker.

MyTomTom account vs. Map Maker account

Map Maker is working on support for TomTom's new authentication process. Unfortunately, this means that accounts created in the MyTomTom are not yet supported in Map Maker - you cannot login with such account.

To use Map Maker, you need to create an separate account specifically for Map Maker using the registration process described in the next section. If you already created an account in the MyTomTom, you will need to use a different email address for registration.

MyTomTom accounts will be supported in Map Maker as soon as the integration is completed. Until then we apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

Create Map Maker account

Follow the steps below to create your Map Maker account:

  1. Sign out of the MyTomTom account if you are currently signed in.
  2. Open Map Maker login page and click the Register button. Alternatively, visit the registration page directly.
  3. Make sure that the URL address is https://developer.tomtom.com/user/register-entry.
  4. Create an account.
