What is TomTom's Parking API?
The Parking API brings together TomTom's on-street and off-street parking services, helping developers build applications around finding, evaluating, and paying for parking. It currently consists of the following services:
On-Street Parking
Provides on-street parking location probability around a point or area, together with vector tiles describing parking geometry.
Parking Availability
Provides information about the current availability status of off-street parking sites, refreshed every 10 minutes.
Parking Prices
Provides estimated prices for off-street parking stays, available payment methods, and detailed pricing structures.
Getting started
- To get your API Key, you first need to be registered for the TomTom Developer Portal. If you don't have an account, no worries! Register / Sign in now before continuing.
- Once you are registered, go to your Dashboard and locate the API Key that you would like to use (we've created the first one for you, it's called My first API Key).
- Read the documentation and start coding.
