Introduction
What is the TomTom Connected Services API?
The TomTom Connected Services API leverages real-time data to alert drivers and autonomous vehicles of potential traffic, road, and weather hazards. By tapping into a vast GPS probe network of over 600 million connected devices, TomTom promptly notifies vehicles of detected dangers through its low-latency push service. Offering a wide array of hazard features and drawing from multiple data sources, TomTom Hazards Service prioritizes safe travel for both drivers and self-driving cars.
