Why do some stations return an “unknown” availability status in the response?
The availability of dynamic information relies on information provided by charging stations network operators. In some cases a particular EV charging station can be offline, restarting or for some other reason not able to return availability at the specific moment when the availability status is checked. For France, Belgium and the US the availability of dynamic data fluctuates more than usual. This can lead to higher than normal amount of "unknown" availability status responses. Calls with an unknown response use your TomTom credits, so please evaluate the data for these countries before going into production.
