What is the Automotive Beta Program?

The Automotive Beta Program allows TomTom employees to actively test our products and provide feedback to improve and refine them. Participants get early access to the latest TomTom products and contribute directly to their development, helping shape the future of automotive technology.

How do I join the Automotive Beta Program?

Currently, the program is open to internal employees, with no additional actions required to get started at this moment. A sign-up process will be introduced soon for enhance engagement and to provide personalized testing opportunities. Stay tuned for updates!

What do I need to test?

We encourage you to explore and test various TomTom products. Your insights on any aspect that catches your attention are valuable.

Is it available in different countries?

Yes, the program is open to employees across various countries where TomTom operates.

Where do I get a device?

Devices can be booked through this website. Have a look at the available devices.

Can I test with my own device?

Guidance on using your own Android Tablet can be found at Testing with your own Android Tablet.

Can I test with my own car?

We encourage using your own car for testing where possible.

How do I book a demo car for testing?

Currently, demo cars are not bookable through the platform, but we aim to include this feature in the future.

How can I return my device?

If you are finished using the device, please (1) sign out of Google Play and (2) send the device to the Amsterdam office:

How long does the Automotive Beta Program last?

Individual testings within the program can range from a quick 10-minute tests to more in-depth testing spanning weeks, depending on specific objectives and testing needs. The overall program is designed to be ongoing, continuously evolving with new features, products, and testing opportunities introduced over time to ensure comprehensive feedback and improvement cycles.

How do I opt out of the Automotive Beta Program?

Currently, no action is needed to opt out. In the future, you will be able to manage your participation through your account settings.
